what to expect

  • Community Room at Sol Naciente Apartments

    We meet in the heart of an apartment complex. We are grateful to be part of the neighborhood!

  • Together

    At 9:45 AM we make our way into the space for coffee & greetings.

    At 10:00 AM we begin our worship service. This is a time where we serve one another as we share prayers, songs, teaching, and words of encouragement.

    At 11:30 AM people are welcome to stay for extended discussion and Bible study. We bring food to share.

  • Multilingual & Multicultural Music

    We sing songs in the languages of our community. We do this to honor the presence of people in our community and remind ourselves that Jesus is the King of all nations and his sacrifice that brings reconciliation is for all of humanity and creation. Our small discomfort is a reminder of the sacrificial self-giving love of Jesus. We are gracious to one another in our attempts to demonstrate love across languages and cultures.

  • It’s about Formation

    Messages are just one way we participate with the Spirit in our transformation of becoming more like Jesus. We also practice corporate confession, sharing testimony and prophetic words, communion, recitation of creeds, and prayer.

  • Multigenerational

    We desire for our kids to experience as much of worship together as possible while also encountering the Word of God in a way that is meaningful to them.

    During the 10:00 AM service, following worship through music, elementary kids are blessed as they go outside for a lesson and activities. There is a rug in the community room with quiet toys where parents can play with their toddlers and still participate in the service.

    During the 11:30 AM discussion, kids are welcome to stay in the community room and participate. They may also play on the playground outside with supervision.

spirit & word

We believe in the gifts of God to the Church through the Spirit including liturgical and charismatic forms of worship and Biblical teaching. We make space to share and receive these gifts.

Jesus & Justice

We believe that Jesus is King and reigns over his kingdom of peace, where hostility is removed and all creation and people have what they need to flourish. We speak and act in ways that reflect the kingdom.

dignity & transformation

We believe that all people are created in the image of God to reflect the goodness of God and to relate to God, one another, and creation in love. We love one another as we are and journey together toward transformation into the likeness of Jesus.
